LWVDK VOTER GUIDE - DEKALB COUNTY
The LWV DeKalb is partnering with The Champion Newspaper and Champion Free Press this year to produce the DeKalb County Voter Guide.
The Voter Guide is a great non-partisan resource that helps voters learn more about the candidates seeking office in Georgia. The questions are a product of the work of the League of Women Voters DeKalb County and The Champion staff. Neither the LWVDK nor The Champion endorses any candidate for the election; both organizations believe that educating citizens about the elections process and the candidates who are running for election provides voters with information to assess potential elected officials based upon the candidates’ own merits and ideas.
This 2010 DeKalb County Voter Guide will appear in the July 8th issue of The Champion and in the July 9th issue of the Champion Free Press.
The candidates for office write their own responses to questions asked in the Voter Guide. The LWVDK does not edit the responses. The responses are limited in wording, so that candidates can be succinct in their responses.
Running for Office?
If you are a candidate and would like to have your candidate profile in the Voter Guide – let us know by emailing your photo and request to: president@lwvdk.org
We encourage you to participate. Let the community know who you are!!! Provide your correct e-mail address. We will then e-mail you the questions so that you may respond. If you have any questions, please contact us at: president@lwvdk.org
